Carneiro and Jeeves, who are both currently coaches and Directors of CFC Real, will facilitate the transition of their coaching staff (including their girls Director Barry O’Reilly) to AC Connecticut.
The AC Connecticut Juniors program will continue to field teams U9 to U19, boys and girls. With the addition of Carneiro, Jeeves and their staff, AC Connecticut will be able to offer boys and girls teams at every age group the opportunity to compete at both the regional and state level. Regional teams will continue to compete in the New York Club Soccer League’s Metropolitan League and state teams will compete in the Connecticut Club Soccer League.
AC Connecticut is focused on putting players in the proper environment to develop and compete, from top to bottom. Along with a men’s Premier Development League (PDL) team, we provide boys and girls in western Connecticut a distinct pathway to develop and play at both the state and regional level. Our objective is to work closely with all soccer clubs within a 30 minute drive of western Connecticut and establish a good working relationship that will benefit the individual town soccer programs.
Tryouts will be held May 29 through June 1. All sessions will be hosted at Western Connecticut State University, Mill Ridge Primary School and Immaculate High School. Specific dates, times and registration information will be announced in the coming days.
