Summary

1 Lionsbridge FC
(2-0-0)
Next match: vs. Charlottesville Blues 5/26
2
Last Week:
3
A comfortable 5-1 win on the road in Virginia, and last year’s League Two finalists look steady and dominant through two games. Last season, the club took a while to start looking this sharp – no such delay in 2024.
2 Flint City Bucks
(2-0-0)
Next match: vs. Lansing City Football 5/25
2
Last Week:
4
Flint City Bucks haven’t looked beyond trouble in either of their first two matches – they left the winners extremely late against both Michiana FC and Union FC Macomb, scoring both at the 85th minute or later. They’ll want to play with a bit less stress to continue being successful, but they have talent in spades.
3 Ballard FC
(0-0-1)
Next match: vs. Midlakes United 5/24
2
Last Week:
1
Nearly a disastrous loss for Ballard FC, but Christian Engmann’s header in stoppage time salvaged a 2-2 draw against a resilient Tacoma Stars side. The Northwest Division won’t be a cakewalk for the defending champions.
4 Vermont Green FC
(2-0-0)
Next match: vs Pathfinder FC 5/25
2
Last Week:
6
The season opened with a comfortable 3-0 win over Boston City FC, and the game was never really in any danger. Jacob Labovitz had a brace and looked like a star, Ernest Bawa performed well in his first match for the Green, and Moussa Ndiaye kept away any danger that may have threatened the Vermont box. A slightly more nervy match followed, but the Green have experienced no danger.
5 Long Island Rough Riders
(1-0-0)
Next match: @ FC Motown STA

Last Week:
5
On the run of play, the 2-1 win against New Jersey Copa was less nervy than the scoreline would suggest, although the last ten minutes were certainly far from easy for the hosts. With a 2-0 lead at halftime thanks to Tinashe Katsade, Long Island should’ve been better in keeping Copa out, but still looked like the far better team.
6 Western Mass Pioneers
(3-0-0)
Next match: vs Black Rock FC 5/31
2
Last Week:
6
Lusitano Stadium remains a fortress. Nine goals scored this season, none conceded, and two 4-0 wallopings of Pathfinder FC and Albany Rush. The eventual race for the Northeast divisional title will be one for the ages.
7 Des Moines Menace
(1-0-1)
Next match: vs. Chicago City SC 5/25

Last Week:
7
A 5-0 road win is a good way to get the taste of a home draw out of your mouth – not for nothing, it’s Troy McKerrell’s first league win at the helm of Des Moines Menace.
8 Monterey Bay F.C. 2
(2-1-0)
Next match: @ Marin FC Legends 6/2
6
Last Week:
2
An unsavory loss to SF Glens does set the tone for the Nor Cal division going forward. After scoring an equalizer against a shorthanded Glens side, they conceded again to Bart Muns only two minutes later, and then couldn’t score against the 10 men of San Francisco the rest of the way.
9 Asheville City SC
(1-0-0)
Next match: vs. Southern Soccer Academy 5/24
2
Last Week:
11
An easy 5-0 win, and Asheville have to be the favorites for the South Central Division early in the season. They look a complete team back to front, are self-assured and not over-reliant on a single player.
10 Capo FC
(2-0-0)
Next match: vs. Arizona Arsenal SC 5/24

Well hello, Capo! The story of the early season – San Juan Capistrano plays host to what is already the most-improved team on last summer. A 4-1 win over Redlands FC marks a significant point in this club’s time in League Two. Could we see a divisional dark horse here?
11 Fort Wayne FC
(2-0-0)
Next match: vs Toledo Villa FC
1
Last Week:
12
It’s all business as usual for the Valley favorites. They’ll alternate home and away matches until a long road trip in the middle of June.
12 North Carolina FC U-23
(3-0-0)
Next match: @ Tobacco Road FC 5/24

Nine goals scored, none conceded. Can’t ask for any better from NCFC U-23, as they now face five consecutive road tests that run through June 15th.
13 Seacoast United Phantoms
(2-0-0)
Next match: @ Boston Bolts 5/29
2
Last Week:
15
It’s hard to overstate the quality of the three teams at the top of the Northeast. A 6-1 win to open the season for the Phantoms, a 4-0 win to follow, and they’ll be in that race for the division as much as anyone else.
14 Little Rock Rangers
(1-0-1)
Next match: @ Mississippi Brilla 5/25
4
Last Week:
10
They’re not losing their matches, but Little Rock Rangers must sort out their attack. One goal scored in two matches isn’t enough, even though their defense is dealing with more or less all threats.
15 Corpus Christi FC
(2-0-0)
Next match: @ Twin City Toucans 5/29

The early favorites in the Lone Star Division, Corpus Christi didn’t face much resistance in home wins against Houston FC and AC Houston Sur.
