Bangers on bangers on bangers - which one was the best?

2,684 goals in League Two this season. Now, it's time to pick your favorite!

There have been hundreds of fantastic goals in League Two this season, from all of our 113 clubs across the country. Bicycle kicks, volleys, curlers, every ridiculous angle and acrobatic move you could think of happened in our league this year.

But in all of those goals, these Goal of the Year nominees shocked, dazzled and left us in awe. Now, it's time to vote for your favorite.

Nathaniel Opoku (VEN) vs. Flint City Bucks, 7/31

This goal needs little introduction. Opoku could've had multiple goals nominated to this list, but this one represented something so significant. It was a beautiful team goal, with a strong buildup and assist before eventual Playoff Final MVP Opoku ripped a curling strike from the corner of the 18-yard box. It would stand as the lone goal in the National Semifinal match, and Ventura County Fusion advanced to the Playoff Final, where they took home the final trophy.

Fernando Garcia (DMN) vs. St. Croix SC, 5/14

The goal that captured League Two fans' hearts and minds headed into the new season. This was Des Moines' second match of the season, and kicked off their dominant run to an undefeated regular season. Garcia touches the loose ball from the Ryley Kraft corner up in the air, then leapt up and scissor kicked the ball through the back of the net. Garcia now plays for USL League One's FC Tucson, getting the call-up midseason.

Alejandro Lopez (MOBA) vs. Dalton Red Wolves, 6/22

Lopez had a penchant for scoring screamers in the South Central Division matches, with a couple bangers that could've made the list. We've selected this bicycle kick, that appeared on ESPN's Futbol Americas soon after. It helped Peachtree City MOBA to a critical result in a tough season for them, and Lopez made sure the fans always had something to cheer for.

Alex Mejia (BAL) vs San Francisco Glens, 7/24

One of the craziest sequences you'll ever see to finish a game. in the 109th minute of the Western Conference Semifinal match, and the final match at Interbay Stadium this season, the ball was loose and headed into the Glens half of the pitch. Mejia and Glens keeper Eliot Jones came together over the loose ball, which sent it flying towards the San Francisco goal with heavy backspin. Mejia went to meet it as it bounced backwards, and he bicycle kicked it past two defenders into the net to send Ballard to the Western Conference Final. A goal the fans in Seattle will never forget.

Shion Soga (ANN) vs Oakland County FC, 6/24

AFC Ann Arbor had a fantastic season that saw them barely miss the playoffs in a brutal Great Lakes division behind Kalamazoo FC and Flint City Bucks. Shion Soga paced Ann Arbor with eight goals this season, none better than a gorgeous volley against Oakland County that won him Goal of the Month in June. The Japanese midfielder will continue his play for the University of South Florida this fall.
