AC Connecticut, Connecticut's only USL League Two soccer franchise, is pleased to announce open youth tryouts for players born 2001 to 2011 (U9 - U19).
In collaboration with our youth soccer partner, Danbury Youth Soccer Club (DYSC), tryouts will be hosted May 21st through June 4th. All sessions will take place between 5:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. and will be spread across three different locations within the greater Danbury area: Western Connecticut State University, Mill Ridge Primary School and Lake Kenosia Park.
As announced recently, AC Connecticut's regional boys program will compete in the National Premier League (NPL) starting this fall. Numerous girls teams will also be competing in "team-based" NPL divisions. In partnership with DYSC, both programs together will offer an unparalleled pathway for youth players in western Connecticut: in-house - travel - state teams - regional teams - USL League Two. AC Connecticut's state teams will continue to compete in the Connecticut Club Soccer League(CCSL) while the regional teams will compete in the New York Club Soccer League's (NYCSL) NPL club-based division.
More information, as well as coaching assignments, will be released in the coming days.
